Nodes can now be added and collapsed with the mouse

Adding a child and collapsing a branch used to be keyboard only, on a three-key chord. Hovering a node now shows two controls: a plus that adds a child and drops you straight into editing it, and a minus that collapses everything below.

A collapsed branch does not vanish quietly. It keeps a badge with the number of nodes hidden under it, and clicking the badge brings them back. The count is the reminder that something is there, and the click is the way out, in the same control.

The controls counter-scale as you zoom out, so they stay the same size on screen and stay clickable on a map viewed from a distance. They appear only on a map you can edit. A published viewer and an embed get the collapse control, because folding a branch to read it is not a change to anybody’s map.
