Smoother zoom animation

Zooming feels smoother. Each scroll or pinch moves the canvas by the same proportion of the range, so the zoom keeps pace with the gesture instead of crawling at one end and jumping at the other. A mouse and a trackpad now cover the same ground.

Zooming out also goes further, down to 15%. A map that used to run off the edges of the screen fits in one view, so finding the branch you want is a glance instead of a hunt.

Wheel and pinch zoom anchor on the cursor: the point under your pointer stays where it is while everything else scales around it. Keyboard and button zoom still anchor on the selected node. Over a selected node’s own scrollable content the wheel scrolls that content instead of zooming, because selecting a node is how you say you are reading it.

Open a large map and scroll out to see the whole thing.
